Safety Policy
At Meet Me in St. Louis, the safety and well-being of our attendees is one of our highest priorities. This is especially important to us because our event welcomes junior dancers and families.
We are committed to creating a safe, respectful, and inclusive environment for everyone. As part of that commitment, all contracted staff members are required to certify that they have not been convicted of, or pleaded guilty or no contest to, certain serious sexual offenses, as outlined in their staff agreements.
While we cannot guarantee that every attendee has been vetted, Event Directors make reasonable, informed decisions regarding participation when credible safety concerns are brought to our attention. Reports are taken seriously and reviewed carefully, with the safety of our community as our guiding priority.
If you have credible concerns regarding the attendance of a specific individual, we encourage you to contact the Event Directors before the event whenever possible. Early communication allows us to gather information and determine the most appropriate course of action.
